The technique of distillation is based on the fact that different substances vaporise at different temperature.
Unlike other extraction techniques based on solubility of a compound in water, oil or other solvents, distillation will separate components regardless of their solubility.
Distilled waters are colourless aqueous extracts from flower (or flowering tops) .
Distilled Waters
DISTILLED WATERS are colourless aqueous preparations that contain most of the water-soluble volatile principles of the plant.
These principles are carried from the plant’s essences by water steam (hydrodistillation).
A sterilising filtration is performed on 0,2 µ. However at the customer’s request a preservative system can be added.
Distilled waters are especially conceived to facilitate the formulation of colourless products.
